ACSSW National Virtual School Social Work Institute

Building Trauma Informed Schools & Communities

Register now for two days of interactive presentations and engaging speakers at the next annual--and virtual!--ACSSW National School Social Work Institute, February 1-2, 2021. PLUS, register for an optional February 3rd professional training on suicide prevention. 

You can potentially earn a total of 18 CEUs if you fully embrace the entire program!  The two day Institute offers 6 CEUs per day, as does the post institute Suicide Risk and Assessment training.  This training meets the new mandatory 6-CEU requirement from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) for Suicide Risk Assessment and Intervention training for LCSWs, LMFTs, and LPCCs renewing their license after January 1, 2021, and for those who are applying for their LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license after January 1, 2021.

Workshop themes include:

  • ACES in action/how it is currently being applied in our field, tools that relate to ACES, developments in this field of study;
  • Trauma-informed best practices which can be utilized in the school setting;
  • Self-care and role sustainability; and more.
